FU ZHOU Fish Ball Products Recalled for Undeclared Wheat and Sesame

Koikoi Trading Inc. is recalling certain lots of FU ZHOU FISH BALL products because they may contain undeclared allergens—wheat and sesame. People with allergies or severe sensitivities to these ingredients could experience serious or potentially life-threatening reactions if they consume the products.

The recall was issued after it was discovered that products possibly containing wheat and sesame were packaged without properly listing these allergens on the label. The affected items were distributed through foodservice and e-commerce channels, including direct delivery to restaurants, distributors, and online customers. Distribution may have reached consumers in multiple states, including California, Washington, Oregon, New York, Florida, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, Massachusetts, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled products are sold under the YABA brand and labeled “Keep Frozen.” Affected pack sizes include 200 g, 400 g, and 5 lb, identified by specific UPC numbers, lot codes, and expiration dates in 2027. Consumers with wheat or sesame allergies should not consume these products and should discard them or contact the seller for guidance.
