Organic Black Bean Products Recalled Over Pesticide Residue

Falcon Trading Company Inc. has issued a recall of several organic black bean products after routine testing detected pesticide residue, raising concerns about product integrity.

The recall includes bulk items such as Black Organic beans (25-pound sacks), Chili Bean Blend Organic (15-pound boxes), and Organic Soup Mix (25-pound boxes). Since these products are often sold from bulk bins, all lot numbers are affected.

The issue was identified when the company found that beans sourced from a certified organic supplier did not meet organic standards due to the presence of pesticide residue. While no illnesses have been reported, the recall was initiated as a precautionary measure.

Consumers who have purchased these products are advised to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
