White Castle’s Frozen Food Division has recalled 1,021 cases of its 4-count Original Sliders after a consumer reported an allergic reaction. The recall was issued because some cartons labeled as Original Sliders may contain Jalapeño Cheese Sliders, which include milk and soy—ingredients not declared on the packaging.
The affected products were shipped to retailers between August and October 2025 and were sold mainly in convenience stores, with distribution potentially reaching all 50 US states. The recalled items are packaged in blue-and-white boxes with UPC code 0-82988-02969-3. Each carton contains two individually wrapped packs of two sliders. The impacted lot codes are 9H203521 and 9H203522, printed next to the best-by date of April 18, 2026.
The error occurred during packaging, when Jalapeño Cheese Sliders were placed into the wrong cartons. Consumers with milk or soy allergies risk serious or life-threatening reactions if they eat the product. No additional injuries or illnesses have been reported.
