Accor Plans Dual-Branded Hotel Development Near Bengaluru Airport

Accor is strengthening its presence in Bengaluru with a new dual-branded hotel development near the city's airport. The hospitality group has signed an agreement with Bengaluru-based SLK Group for a project combining Pullman Bengaluru Airport and ibis Bengaluru Airport. Together, the two hotels are planned to provide approximately 450 rooms and are scheduled to open in 2032.

The development will bring two different Accor brands into a single hospitality complex, allowing the property to serve both premium and economy segments. Pullman Bengaluru Airport will account for 200 rooms, while the adjoining ibis property will have 250 rooms.

The Pullman hotel is expected to include three food and beverage outlets: a speciality restaurant, a lobby lounge and bar, and an all-day dining restaurant. It will also provide around 1,500 square metres of meeting and event facilities, including conference areas, pre-function spaces and supporting facilities for corporate and social gatherings.

The ibis Bengaluru Airport will feature approximately 300 square metres of dedicated event space, along with an all-day dining restaurant and a lobby lounge and bar. Guests staying at either hotel will be able to use shared recreational facilities, including a swimming pool and fitness centre.

The project is being planned in response to the changing character of Bengaluru's airport corridor, where aviation, business activity, technology companies and commercial development are generating demand for accommodation across different price and service categories.

Ranju Alex, CEO of Accor South Asia, said the dual-brand approach would bring together two distinct hospitality concepts within one destination while addressing the requirements of different traveller groups.

The development adds to Accor's existing portfolio in India and South Asia, where the company manages more than 75 properties across luxury, premium, midscale and economy segments. The Bengaluru project is expected to further extend the group's presence in one of India's major business and technology centres.
