Aldi recalls jalapenos, green peppers and green beans because of Listeria concerns

ALDI Inc., in collaboration with Wiers Farm, Inc. and R.S. Hanline Co. Inc., is recalling Freshire Farms jalapenos, green peppers, and green beans due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. These products were sold at select ALDI stores in Kentucky, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Listeria monocytogenes contamination may not be visible or smell spoiled but can cause severe and potentially life-threatening infections. Consumers who have eaten the recalled products and experience symptoms should seek medical attention and inform their healthcare provider about the possible exposure.

Recalled products are:
- Jalapenos: 8 oz. bag, UPC 4099100087680
- Green Peppers: 16 oz. (3 pack) bag, UPC 4099100087598
- Green Beans: 16 oz. bag, UPC 4099100087826

Affected customers should either discard the products immediately or return them to their local ALDI store for a full refund.
