Bedrock MFG Recalls Monarch Premium Kratom Products Over Salmonella Risk

Vanguard Enterprises LLC, doing business as Bedrock MFG of Boise, Idaho, has issued a nationwide recall of its Monarch Premium Kratom brand powders—Bali Gold, Red Bali, Green Maeng Da, and White Elephant—due to possible Salmonella contamination.

The recall follows testing by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, which found Salmonella in a retail sample of the finished product. The affected kratom powders were sold through retail stores between April and September 2023.

Products were packaged in 14-, 56-, 112-, and 224-gram mylar pouches, labeled with lot code 020123PA3F and UPCs specific to each variety. Sales did not include Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Rhode Island, or Wisconsin.

Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled products immediately, as Salmonella infection can cause serious illness, particularly in young children, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems.
