Cargill Kitchen Solutions of Lake Odessa, MI, is recalling 212,268 pounds of liquid egg products due to potential contamination with sodium hypochlorite, a cleaning solution, according to the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
Recalled Products:
All recalled products have establishment number “G1804” and were shipped to Ohio, Texas, and foodservice locations in multiple states.
Although FSIS states the contamination poses no significant health risk, consumers should discard or return the products. No illnesses have been reported.
