Valley Fine Foods Co., Inc., based in Benicia, California, has voluntarily recalled 646 cases of its Chile Verde Egg Bites due to the potential presence of foreign materials. The recall, launched on April 3, 2025, is classified as Class II by the FDA, meaning the product may cause temporary or reversible health effects but is not likely to lead to serious injury. The affected egg bites, sold in 4.6 oz. packages (2 per pack), were distributed to retail stores in Texas. The recalled products are marked with UPC 0-41220-30655-8 and Lot Code: 05/17/25 [time stamp] L2. No injuries or illnesses have been reported to date. Consumers are advised not to eat the product and to dispose of it or return it to the point of purchase. Ingesting foreign materials may cause choking, mouth injuries, or gastrointestinal issues, and medical attention should be sought if adverse symptoms develop.
