Diva Fam Recalls True Sea Moss Gel Superfood Due to Regulatory and Safety Concerns

Diva Fam Inc. has announced a nationwide recall of all lots and flavours of its True Sea Moss brand Sea Moss Gel Superfood after identifying gaps in required regulatory authorisation and missing temperature monitoring records for pH-controlled food products. Such products, if not manufactured in compliance with regulatory standards, may pose a risk of microbial growth, including bacteria capable of producing toxins linked to botulism.

To date, no illnesses or adverse health events have been reported in connection with the recalled products. The affected Sea Moss Gel Superfood was distributed across the United States through select retail outlets, online sales via the company’s website, and other distribution channels.

The recall applies to all flavours, sizes, and batch numbers packaged in 16-fluid-ounce (473 mL) glass jars manufactured before January 9, 2026. Consumers are advised not to consume the products and to seek immediate medical attention if they experience symptoms consistent with botulism, which can be severe and potentially life-threatening.
