Firehook Recalls Crackers Over Undeclared Allergen

Firehook of Virginia is recalling one lot of its Classic Sea Salt Organic Crackers due to undeclared sesame, which may pose a serious risk to individuals with sesame allergies. The affected 8-ounce crackers are packaged in clear plastic with a Best By date of 09/29/25 and UPC 8 99055 00063 5.

Sold in retail stores across 11 states including New York, Massachusetts, and Virginia, the recall was issued on May 30 after a labeling error was discovered. The issue resulted from a temporary breakdown in production and packaging systems.

No allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported so far.
