G&L FOOD Dried Bean Curd Recalled Over Undeclared Wheat Allergen

Gansu Zhaofeng Agricultural Development Co. Ltd. of Longnan City, Gansu Province, has recalled 500-gram bags of G&L FOOD Dried Bean Curd after the products were found to contain wheat, an undeclared allergen present in soy sauce. The recall affects items sold primarily in restaurants and retail stores in Northern California’s Bay Area.

The recalled bags are marked with UPC 6976325560236 and have expiration dates of 25/10/2025, 11/06/2026, and 20/06/2026, with coding located on the back of the package. People with wheat allergies or severe sensitivities risk serious or life-threatening reactions if the product is consumed.

The recall followed an FDA inspection highlighting the missing allergen declaration. No illnesses have been reported to date. Consumers who purchased affected products are urged not to consume them and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
