Gerber Teething Sticks Recalled Again Due to Choking Hazard

The FDA has reissued a recall for all batches of Gerber Soothe n’ Chew Teething Sticks after reports revealed they remain available online and in some stores. Originally recalled on Jan. 31, the product poses a choking risk, with one confirmed emergency room visit. Production has been discontinued.

Affected Products:

  • Strawberry Apple (3.2 oz) – UPC: 0 15000 04618 7
  • Banana (3.2 oz) – UPC: 0 15000 04608 8
  • Banana (1.59 oz) – UPC: 0 15000 01015 7
  • All lot codes affected

Distributed nationwide, including Puerto Rico and 47 states, the sticks were sold online and in retail stores.

Consumers should not feed these products to children. Items may be returned to the place of purchase for a refund. For questions, call 1-800-4-GERBER (1-800-443-7237). If injury or illness is suspected, seek medical attention immediately.
