Hak Kale and Spinach Recalled in Canada Due to Rubber Contamination

Global Reach Confections & More Inc. has issued a recall for Hak brand kale and spinach products in Canada due to potential rubber contamination, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The affected items were sold in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. No injuries or illnesses have been reported at this time.

Consumers and retailers are advised not to sell, use, serve, or distribute the recalled products. Items should be discarded or returned to the point of purchase.

Rubber fragments in food may cause mouth or throat injuries, digestive issues, or pose a choking risk. Anyone who has consumed the recalled products and is experiencing pain or difficulty swallowing should seek medical care promptly.
