Moishes Famous Coleslaw has been recalled in Canada due to undeclared egg, according to a notice issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Individuals allergic or sensitive to eggs may experience severe or potentially life-threatening reactions if they consume the affected product.

The recalled item is identified as Moishes Famous Coleslaw sold in 454-gram containers with the UPC 6 88343 41849 4 and a Best Before date of 2025OC26; 716132. The CFIA reports that the product was distributed to retailers across Quebec.

Consumers are advised to check their refrigerators and avoid eating the product if they have an egg allergy. It should be discarded or returned to the store where it was purchased. The company did not release a photo of the recalled coleslaw. The CFIA continues to monitor the recall to ensure affected products are removed from the marketplace.
