  • Packaging: 144-count boxes with shellfish tags
  • Harvest Dates: 01/30/2024 & 02/04/2024
  • Distribution: Wholesalers in Los Angeles & Irvine, CA (potentially reaching other states)

Health Risk:

Norovirus symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, stomach cramps, fever, and chills, appearing 12–48 hours after exposure and lasting up to two days. Severe cases may affect those with weakened immune systems.

Consumer & Retailer Advisory:

  • Restaurants & retailers should discard or arrange for destruction via distributors.
  • Consumers should avoid eating the oysters and seek medical attention if symptoms develop.
