Sheehan Brothers Vending is recalling several pre-packaged sandwiches due to the presence of undeclared sesame, a known allergen. The recall affects products including cheeseburgers, spicy chicken sandwiches, Italian mini subs, pepperoni pizza subs, chili cheese coney, and BBQ riblets with coleslaw — all individually wrapped in plastic.
The recalled items were sold between July 2 and July 8 through Micro Markets and vending machines across Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Eastern Indiana. The issue was identified during a routine inspection by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. No illnesses have been reported so far.
Consumers with sesame allergies or sensitivities are at risk of severe allergic reactions and should avoid consuming these products. Anyone experiencing allergy or foodborne illness symptoms should seek medical attention promptly. Affected consumers are encouraged to discard the product or contact Sheehan Brothers Vending for more information.
