Sno Pac Recalls Organic Frozen Spinach Nationwide Over Listeria Risk

Sno Pac Foods of Caledonia, MN, has recalled its Del Mar 35-pound bulk Organic Frozen Spinach and Sno Pac 10-ounce Organic Frozen Cut Spinach due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The affected spinach was distributed nationwide through retail stores and distributors.

The recall includes 35-pound boxes with lot codes 250107A–D, 2501071, and 2501073 (exp 1/7/27) and 10-ounce packages with lot codes SPM1.190.5 (best by 7/9/27)SPC1.160.5 and SPC2.160.5 (best by 6/9/27), and SPM1.097.5 (best by 4/7/27). No illnesses have been reported so far.

The contamination was detected when a bulk spinach sample from a supplier tested positive for Listeria. Production has been halted pending investigation. Consumers should discard or return the affected products for a refund.

Listeria infection symptoms include fever, muscle aches, nausea, and headache, with pregnant women, infants, and the elderly at higher risk of severe illness.
