Spring & Mulberry Recalls Mint Leaf Date Sweetened Chocolate Bars Over Salmonella Risk

Spring & Mulberry has issued a voluntary recall of lot #025255 of its Mint Leaf Date Sweetened Chocolate Bars (2.1 oz) due to the potential presence of Salmonella. The affected product has been sold nationwide through the company’s website and select retail partners since September 15, 2025.

The recalled chocolate can be identified by the Spring & Mulberry brand name, teal-colored packaging, the Mint Leaf flavour, and lot code #025255, which appears on both the back of the outer box and the inner flow wrap. The issue was identified following routine testing conducted by an independent laboratory. No illnesses or adverse health effects have been reported so far.

Salmonella-contaminated food may not show visible signs of spoilage but can cause illness, particularly in vulnerable groups such as children, older adults, pregnant women, and individuals with weakened immune systems. Consumers who experience symptoms after consuming the product are advised to seek medical attention promptly.
