Suzanna’s Kitchen Recalls Breaded Chicken Over Undeclared Soy Allergen

Suzanna’s Kitchen of Suwanee, Georgia, has recalled 62,550 pounds of fully cooked, bone-in breaded chicken products due to misbranding and the presence of an undeclared allergen, according to the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). The recalled product contains soy, a known allergen that is not listed on the label, posing a risk of serious or potentially life-threatening reactions for individuals with soy allergies or sensitivities.

The affected product consists of 8-piece cut, bone-in breaded chicken portions produced on October 16, 2025. It was distributed nationwide to restaurant locations in 18-pound cases containing four units labeled “Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Portions,” with case code “P-1380 126237 B30851 23:11 K04.” The packages bear the USDA mark of inspection and establishment number P-1380.

The issue was identified by the company during an internal review. No illnesses have been reported so far. FSIS has warned that some product may still be in restaurant freezers and should not be served.
