Texas Olive Company recalls Capers, Giardiniera, and Pepperoncini due to improper sealing

All American Trading of Houston, Inc., based in Houston, TX, is recalling several Texas Olive Company products — including Capers Capote, Giardiniera, and Pepperoncini — due to potential contamination risks stemming from improper sealing. The products were not heat-sealed, increasing the risk of contamination.

The recall, initiated on April 4, 2025, is classified as a Class II recall, signaling a low risk of serious health issues, though temporary or reversible effects are possible. The recalled products were distributed in Texas and Mississippi.

Products Affected:

  • Capers Capote: 8 oz. plastic containers and 16 oz. glass jars (expiry dates before 06/04/2025 and 12/21/2025, respectively)
  • Giardiniera: 16 oz. glass jars (expiry before 06/14/2025)
  • Pepperoncini: 16 oz. glass jars (expiry before 05/21/2025)

No illnesses have been reported. Consumers should avoid consuming the recalled items and either discard them or return them to the point of purchase. Businesses should stop selling these products immediately.
