TGD Cuts, LLC of Jessup, MD, is recalling cucumbers, salsas, and salads due to potential Salmonella contamination. The cucumbers were sourced from Bedner Growers, Inc., linked to an ongoing FDA Salmonella outbreak investigation.
The affected products were distributed between May 20–28, 2025, to retail and foodservice locations in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and North Carolina. These items are now past their shelf life and should no longer be in circulation.
No illnesses have been reported so far. Consumers are advised to discard the products or return them for a refund.
Salmonella-contaminated food often appears normal but can cause serious illness—especially in infants, seniors, and people with weakened immune systems. Symptoms typically include fever, cramps, and diarrhea within 12 to 72 hours of consumption.
