USDA Warns of Uninspected Beef and Pork Products with False Labels

The Food Safety and Inspection Service has issued a public health alert for several raw beef and pork products sold under the Blackwing brand that may have been produced without federal inspection and could carry misleading inspection labels.

Officials are concerned that some items, produced between April 2024 and March 2026, may still be stored in homes or retail freezers. Consumers are advised not to eat these products due to potential risks, including harmful bacteria, undeclared allergens, or other contaminants.

Some products were found to display an unauthorized USDA inspection mark, while others lacked inspection entirely. These items were distributed to wholesale and retail outlets across the country.

No illnesses have been confirmed so far, but authorities recommend seeking medical advice if any health concerns arise after consumption. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional products may be identified.
