Beauty Industry Turns to Biotechnology and Upcycling for Sustainable Product Development

The cosmetics industry is increasingly exploring new technologies and production methods to reduce environmental impact while maintaining product quality and performance. Recent developments point towards greater use of biotechnology, upcycled materials and digital tools in the development of beauty and personal-care products.

Biotechnology is gaining attention as manufacturers look for alternatives to conventional sources of cosmetic ingredients.
