VDI Publishes Draft Guideline for HVAC Cleaning Training

The VDI; "Verein Deutscher Ingenieure" (Association of German Engineers), has released a draft of Guideline 6022 Blatt 8.1, addressing HVAC system cleaning and the qualification of employees performing these tasks. This document bridges the gap between Part 2 (training categories) and Part 8 (HVAC cleaning implementation) in the 6022 series.

Blatt 8.1 establishes qualification requirements for employees applying VDI/ÖFR/SWKI 6022 Blatt 8 and is aimed at maintenance companies, system operators, and facility managers.
