Frito-Lay Recalls Miss Vickie’s Chips Over Undeclared Milk Allergen

Frito-Lay has announced a recall of certain 8-ounce bags of Miss Vickie’s Spicy Dill Pickle Potato Chips after discovering that some packages may contain jalapeño-flavored chips that include undeclared milk. The issue was identified after a consumer contacted the company.

Individuals with a milk allergy or severe sensitivity could experience a serious or potentially life-threatening reaction if they consume the affected product.

The recalled chips may have been distributed starting Jan. 15, 2026, through grocery stores, convenience stores, drug stores, and local online retailers across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

No other Miss Vickie’s flavors, sizes, or products — including those found in variety packs — are part of the recall.

So far, no allergic reactions or health incidents related to the affected chips have been reported. Consumers with milk allergies are advised to avoid consuming the recalled product.
