Milk Recall Issued in Canada Over Possible Glass Contamination

Several milk products sold under the Farmers, Québon, and Natrel brands are being recalled across Canada due to the potential presence of glass fragments. The action was announced by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency after the issue was identified by the manufacturer.

The affected products include multiple varieties of partly skimmed, chocolate, lactose-free, and homogenized milk in 2-litre cartons. These items were distributed in regions such as Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and nationwide in the case of some Natrel products. Specific “best before” dates are associated with the recall.

Consumers are advised not to consume the affected milk, as glass contamination could pose a risk of injury. Instead, they should discard the product or return it to the retailer for a refund.

No illnesses or injuries have been reported so far. However, individuals experiencing any health concerns after consumption should seek medical advice promptly.
