Suzanna’s Kitchen Recalls Ready-to-Eat Chicken Over Possible Listeria Risk

Suzanna’s Kitchen, based in Norcross, Georgia, has issued a recall for about 13,720 pounds of ready-to-eat grilled chicken breast fillet products due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

The affected products were manufactured on Oct. 14, 2025. The recall applies to 10-pound cases containing two 5-pound bags of fully cooked grilled chicken breast fillets with rib meat. The products carry lot code 60104 P1382 287 5 J14 and the establishment number P-1382 inside the USDA inspection mark.

The recalled chicken was distributed to foodservice centers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Ohio.

The issue was identified after a third-party laboratory detected Listeria monocytogenes in a product sample. No illnesses have been confirmed.

Listeria infections can cause serious health complications, particularly for pregnant women, older adults, young children, and individuals with weakened immune systems.
