Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the Swargiya Bhanutai Gadkari Memorial Diagnostic Centre in Nagpur, a charitable facility offering MRI, CT, dialysis, X-ray, and blood tests at low or no cost for underserved communities.
Spanning 6,000 sq ft, the fully air-conditioned, paperless centre is managed by the Swargiya Bhanutai Gadkari Gramin Vikas Sanstha. Uniquely, all medical equipment is Made in India, developed at AMTZ, Visakhapatnam, showcasing self-reliance in MedTech.
The centre features a 1.5 Tesla MRI with MUSIC technology and a 64-slice CT scanner, both offering speed and patient comfort.
The launch was attended by CM Devendra Fadnavis and Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, with plans to replicate such centres across Maharashtra.
Gadkari emphasized the goal of delivering cutting-edge diagnostics to the poorest communities through indigenous technology.
