Tennis Star Alexander Zverev Partners with Medtronic to Empower People with Diabetes

Top-ranked tennis player Alexander Zverev has partnered with Medtronic Diabetes to launch Life Without Limits, a global campaign promoting diabetes awareness and technology. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 4, Zverev aims to inspire others by showing how tools like automated insulin delivery systems can support active, independent lives—even at elite levels of sport.

The campaign features digital content, events, and outreach efforts. Zverev hopes to break the stigma and motivate those with diabetes to pursue their goals.

The partnership comes as Medtronic prepares to spin off its diabetes unit into a standalone company, MiniMed. Despite a recent FDA recall, the division reported $2.75 billion in FY 2025 revenue. Medtronic currently holds 6% of the U.S. insulin delivery and 7.3% of glucose monitoring markets, according to GlobalData.
