Yoga Joint Plans 25 New Studios Across Florida and Texas

Yoga Joint is set to expand its presence in the United States after signing a multi-unit franchise agreement with CR Fitness Holdings, the largest Crunch Fitness franchisee in the country. The agreement calls for the development of 25 Yoga Joint studios across Florida and Texas.

The deal marks a significant expansion for the yoga-focused fitness brand as it seeks to establish a larger footprint in two major US markets. CR Fitness Holdings, which operates Crunch Fitness locations, will add Yoga Joint to its portfolio through the new development arrangement.

Yoga Joint combines yoga-based training with infrared fitness, offering a format that sits within the wider boutique fitness and wellness market. The expansion is expected to introduce the brand to new communities while building on the existing relationship between fitness and wellness services.

The agreement covers multiple locations rather than a single studio, indicating a broader development strategy for the brand. Florida will form part of the expansion, while Texas will also receive new Yoga Joint locations under the deal.

The development comes as fitness operators continue to broaden their offerings beyond traditional gym-based workouts. Yoga studios and specialised wellness concepts have increasingly become part of the wider fitness landscape, catering to consumers seeking alternatives to conventional exercise programmes.

For Yoga Joint, the partnership with an established multi-unit fitness operator provides a route to accelerate its geographic expansion. The 25-studio agreement will extend the brand's reach across two states and strengthen its presence in the US boutique fitness sector.

The announcement represents another example of yoga becoming increasingly integrated into the commercial fitness industry, with dedicated yoga concepts expanding through franchise and multi-location business models.
